About the Role-cloud engineer job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated cloud engineer to join our IT services & consulting team. This role is perfect for candidates passionate about cloud technologies, eager to learn, and capable of supporting and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure.
As a cloud engineer, you will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals aiming to build a career in cloud computing and infrastructure management, with hands-on exposure to platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
Deploy and manage applications and services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Monitor cloud resources, track performance, and optimize usage for cost efficiency and reliability.
Implement cloud security controls, backup solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.
Support migration of applications, data, and workloads from on-premises systems to the cloud.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to troubleshoot issues and streamline operations.
Prepare and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
Stay updated on new cloud technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements |
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). |
Foundational knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP (compute, storage, networking, databases). |
Understanding of virtualization, cloud computing concepts, and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS models. |
Familiarity with Linux/Windows system administration is an added advantage. |
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. |
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving cloud technologies. |
